Acceptable Use Policy

The listing rules every member business agrees to — and what gets a deal pulled.

Last updated August 21, 2026 · AdZoo

This page is maintained by AdZoo to explain how AdZoo works. It is informational, not legal advice, and it is not a certification by any third party.

1. Why this exists

Shoppers open AdZoo because they trust the deals. One fake countdown or bait price costs everyone. These rules apply to every listing, photo, keyword and business profile on the platform.

2. Honest offers

  • The advertised price must be the price a shopper actually pays, with material conditions stated in the listing.
  • Inventory counters must reflect real remaining stock. Do not reset or inflate a counter to manufacture urgency.
  • Expiry dates must be real. Do not re-post an identical deal purely to restart a countdown.
  • "Was" prices must reflect a genuine recent selling price.
  • Honor the deal at every location you attach to it, for the whole time it is live.

3. Photos and content

  • Photograph the real item, service or storefront you are advertising — not stock imagery, catalogue shots or pictures taken from the web.
  • Any camera is fine, a phone included, but the photo must be in focus, well lit and show the product clearly. Take pride in what you post: it represents your business.
  • No images or text you do not have rights to, including other brands' logos and photos.
  • No keyword stuffing, unrelated keywords, competitor brand names, or hidden text intended to game search.
  • No adult, hateful, violent, harassing, deceptive or discriminatory content.

4. Alcohol

Alcohol is allowed on adzoo. Licensed restaurants, bars, breweries, wineries, cideries, distillery tasting rooms and liquor, wine and beer shops may advertise drinks the same way any other business advertises its products. Every ad asks whether it promotes or features an alcoholic beverage. Answering yes classifies the listing Alcohol / 21+ and requires you to confirm, on the record, that you are legally permitted to advertise and sell alcohol and that the promotion complies with applicable law.

  • Answer yes when alcohol is being promoted, featured, discounted or included in the deal. A drink appearing incidentally in a photo of a meal is not an alcohol ad.
  • Alcohol ads carry a "21+ ONLY — Valid ID Required" badge and the line: "Must be 21 or older to purchase or consume alcohol. Valid government-issued ID may be required."
  • No offers that reward volume drinking: unlimited, bottomless, "all you can drink", drinking contests or speed-drinking promotions.
  • Alcohol promotions must not be specifically directed toward minors — no copy, photos or keywords aimed at anyone under 21, and no using intoxication as the selling point.
  • No shipping or delivery offers unless your licence covers them.
  • Never pair an alcohol offer with driving, boating or operating equipment.
  • Follow your state and local advertising rules; where they are stricter than ours, theirs apply.

5. Prohibited categories

Regardless of local legality, the following may not be advertised on adzoo:

  • Weapons, ammunition and explosives.
  • Illegal drugs, controlled substances and drug paraphernalia; tobacco, vaping and cannabis products. (Alcohol from a licensed seller is allowed — see the Alcohol section above.)
  • Prescription medicines, medical devices and treatments claiming to cure conditions.
  • Adult services or sexual content.
  • Gambling, lotteries, payday lending, debt relief, crypto investment offers and get-rich-quick schemes.
  • Counterfeit, stolen, recalled or fraudulently sourced goods.
  • Live animals, human remains, and body parts or fluids.

6. Ambassador and referral marketing

Ambassadors who share a referral link agree to these rules in addition to everything else in this policy.

  • Always disclose that you may earn a commission when a business subscribes through your link.
  • No unsolicited bulk email, texts, direct messages or automated messaging of any kind.
  • No bidding on AdZoo trademarks or close variants in paid search, and no ads that impersonate AdZoo.
  • No claiming guaranteed sales, income, traffic or search rankings on AdZoo's or a business's behalf.
  • Do not pose as AdZoo staff or imply you speak for the company.
  • No coupon, cashback or incentive sites that add nothing to the referral.
  • No referring yourself, businesses you own or control, or accounts you created.

7. Platform integrity

  • No scraping, automated posting, bots or artificially inflating views, saves or shares.
  • No creating multiple accounts to evade limits, suspension or per-location pricing.
  • No impersonating a business you do not represent or operate.
  • No probing, attacking or interfering with the security of the service.

8. Enforcement

We may remove a listing, restrict posting, suspend or terminate an account for any violation — immediately and without refund for serious or repeated breaches. Shoppers and businesses can report a listing at the contact form (https://adzoo.shop/contact); we review reports and, where a deal was misrepresented, we act on it. Appeals go through the contact form at https://adzoo.shop/contact.
