What AdZoo stores on your device, why, and how to clear it.

Last updated August 21, 2026 · AdZoo

This page is maintained by AdZoo to explain how AdZoo works. It is informational, not legal advice, and it is not a certification by any third party.

1. Cookies and local storage

AdZoo uses cookies and similar browser storage (localStorage) to keep the site working and to remember your preferences. Some of what looks like tracking elsewhere happens entirely on your device here — your taste profile for deal ranking is stored in your browser, not built into an advertising profile.

2. Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary — sign-in sessions for business accounts, security and fraud prevention, and load balancing. These cannot be switched off in-product.
  • Preferences — your city, search radius, category filters, "For you" toggle, saved deals and light/dark choice.
  • Personalization — the on-device taste model that scores categories, tags and price bands from what you view, open, save and share. Clear it with "Forget my taste" in preferences.
  • Referral attribution — if you follow an ambassador’s referral link we store that code and an anonymous visitor identifier for up to 30 days so the ambassador is credited if a business you refer subscribes.
  • Analytics — aggregate, non-identifying counts of page views, deal impressions and opens so we and the posting business can see how a deal performed.

3. Third-party cookies

Our payment processor may set cookies on checkout pages for fraud prevention. Embedded map or social sharing features may set their own cookies when you interact with them, governed by those providers' policies.

4. Managing cookies

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data — check its privacy settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in and posting. Where required by law we ask for consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change that choice at any time. Questions: use the contact form at https://adzoo.shop/contact.
